Make a Wish Foundation: Summer Wishes Event
PavelComm attends Summer Wishes a benefit for the Make a Wish Foundation of Oregon July 11th. All of the materials and labor for the Pioneer Place event were donated by PavelComm, and through their partnership with Comcast they were able to ensure dial-tone facilities for the telethon.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Beginning in 1980 when a little boy named Chris wished to be a police officer. He remains, to this day the only honorary member of the Phoenix police force. In his memory, those involved in granting Chris’ wish started the Foundation which has granted over 193,000 wishes worldwide. This event is to support local children’s wishes being granted in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
