American Cancer Society’s 2012 Hope BallFeb 12, 2012
PavelComm will be attending and fund raising for the American Cancer Society Hope Ball in Portland. This year’s annual event hopes to raise $75,000 for the American Cancer Society and Camp Ukandu, ACS’ summer camp for children fighting cancer.
The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization with more than 3,400 local offices. The goal of the American Cancer Society is to prevent cancer, save lives, and diminish suffering from cancer through balanced programs of research, education, patient service, advocacy, and rehabilitation. All funds raised for the American Cancer Society support the mission of saving lives.
Young Audiences’ Gala: Celebrating Our StarsFeb 03, 2012
PavelComm will be filling a table for Young Audiences’ Gala “Celebrating Our Stars” on February 11th. This is PavelComm’s first year participating in the 10th annual event.
Young Audiences is the nation’s leading arts and education organization, offering a full range of programs in multiple artistic disciplines and cultures, all in support of one mission: to enhance children’s learning with creative resources from the arts community.
Oregon College of Arts and Craft’s “Art on the Vine” AuctionJan 29, 2012
PavelComm purchased a $2,500 table for Oregon College of Arts and Craft’s “Art on the Vine” Auction on February 4th. The 17th annual art and wine auction will also be supported by PavelComm filling an additional table of eight for the event.
PavelComm supports Oregon College of Arts and Craft by serving on the Board of Directors, and recently donated to Oregon College of Arts and Craft’s Capital Campaign.
Oregon College of Art and Craft is a private, accredited, independent college offering a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, two certificate programs, continuing education for adults, and youth classes and workshops.
Trillium Family Services: Denim and DiamondsJan 27, 2012
PavelComm recently made a capital contribution to Trillium Family Services’ Capital Campaign, which assists Trillium in providing top-notch care to more than 5,000 children and families.
On January 28th, PavelComm will be attending the “Treasure our Kids: Denim and Diamonds” event at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center at Oregon State University. The event is hosted by Trillium to support the Children’s Farm Home in Corvallis, Oregon.
Trillium Family Services, a community benefit organization, is the leading provider of mental and behavioral healthcare for Oregon’s children, serving more than 5,000 children and families.
Make a Wish Foundation: Summer Wishes EventJul 11, 2011
PavelComm attends Summer Wishes a benefit for the Make a Wish Foundation of Oregon July 11th. All of the materials and labor for the Pioneer Place event were donated by PavelComm, and through their partnership with Comcast they were able to ensure dial-tone facilities for the telethon.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Beginning in 1980 when a little boy named Chris wished to be a police officer. He remains, to this day the only honorary member of the Phoenix police force. In his memory, those involved in granting Chris’ wish started the Foundation which has granted over 193,000 wishes worldwide. This event is to support local children’s wishes being granted in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Donation to School House SuppliesJul 03, 2011
PavelComm donated over 3,500 brand new white binders to school house supplies. By saving these binders from a landfill 3,500 kids and teachers will have access to additional supplies. We also donated 800+ T-shirts which will be used as smocks for kids in art class.
Doggie Dash 2011May 14, 2011
PavelComm attends The Oregon Humane Societies Annual Doggie Dash 2011 where we donated our time and helped served a pancake breakfast to Dashers. This event raised $315,000 towards finding homes for 10,000 abused, neglected and unwanted pets, along with investigating over 1,000 animal cruelty complaints and providing a host of other services to the community. Loaves and Fishes LuncheonMay 12, 2011
PavelComm attends The Loaves and Fishes Spring Luncheon on May 12th 2011, which raised $320,000 to feed area seniors. Our donation will provide over 200 warm meals to Seniors in Need.
Chess for Success AuctionMar 31, 2011
PavelComm attends the Chess for Success annual auction. Chess for Success is an organization dedicated to helping children develop skills necessary for success in school and life by learning chess. PavelComm donated funds to support this program in 1 school for an Entire year. Not only did we donate money but we also donated our time to help set up and procure auction items.
